How Does LSP Handle Payment?
Check, Venmo and Zelle are all approved forms of payment. Payment must be made by 1 individual/business using only 1 form of the approved payment methods. Please note that there are no payment plan options for any service. LSP will send a text to the client's phone and an e-mail of when all payments are due. LSP does not start editing photos or provide photos to clients unless services have been paid in full. If full payment is not received by the due date, a 10% late fee (calculated from the original cost of the service) will be applied. Example: If a package costs $700, the late fee will be $70. This amount will be added to the remaining balance. If the full balance, including the 10% late fee, is not paid within 30 days of the late fee being applied: - LSP is not obligated to deliver the photos - The photos will not be used in any promotion materials Deposit Information: Even if a date has been discussed, a client is not booked until a deposit has been received. Deposits are due on the day of booking, and clients have a 24-hour window to cancel LSP services and their deposit. After the 24-hour grace period, the deposit becomes non-refundable. If you have paid your non-refundable deposit and need to reschedule, please contact LSP to check availability. Paid deposits do not expire. - Wedding and Event packages require a 50% deposit - Family and Branding packages require a 30% deposit Deposits are applied to the service. Remaining balances will be due 1 week before the session.
What Happens if LSP Must Cancel a Session?
For Booked Family or Branding Sessions: The client will get the choice of a 10% discount if they agree to reschedule, or a full refund with no rescheduled session. For Booked Wedding or Event Sessions: If LSP cancels a wedding or event session due to an unforeseen circumstance, the client will receive a full refund. The client will be responsible for securing a replacement photographer. Upon request, LSP can provide a list of trusted local photographers for consideration. Due to the cancellation inconvenience, the client will also be offered a complimentary 1-hour photo session, valid for 1 year from the original event date. Examples of unforeseen circumstances include but are not limited to: ​Dangerous Weather Conditions: Severe storms, heavy snow, unsafe road conditions, or flight cancellations and delays may prevent travel. LSP closely monitors weather conditions and works with clients in advance to minimize hazards and avoid session cancellations. If LSP is able to secure safe passage for a session but travel or scheduling adjustments are required, the client will be responsible for any additional expenses, including new flight costs, car rentals, gas, and hotel accommodations. These potential expenses will be outlined and approved by the client prior to booking. LSP values client safety and satisfaction. If the client determines that the additional expenses are too high or chooses to cancel the event, they may cancel LSP services and request a full refund. Please note that once this decision is made, it cannot be reversed, as travel and accommodation availability may change. ​ Medical Emergencies: During a medical emergency, LSP may not be able to contact the client. LSP re-confirms all session dates 1 week as well as 24 hours before the scheduled time. If the client has not heard from LSP, they will need to connect with LSP's emergency contact that is provided upon booking to get an update on LSP's circumstance. Family Emergencies: ​If the owner of LSP has a family emergency and cannot attend a session, LSP will reach out to the client with an update on circumstances and next steps.
